Factory Dispatch: Two Tape Applicators and a Paper Counter Headed Overseas

Three more machines cleared our testing floor this week. We just finished the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and crating for two industrial tape applicators—including our semi-automatic model—alongside a high-speed paper counting machine. They are currently staged for export, heading to commercial printing and packaging facilities looking to clear out their manual processing bottlenecks.

Here is a quick look at what went out the door and how we prepped them for the freight run.

The Tape Applicators: Fixing the Manual Bottleneck

If you manage a packaging line, you already know hand-applying double-sided or tear strip tape is a massive time sink. The two applicators we shipped today are built to take that manual work out of the equation.

They handle corrugated board, folding cartons, and PVC sheets without jamming. We’ve equipped them with pneumatic cutting heads that cleanly snap acrylic foam and standard tissue tapes without gumming up the blades. More importantly, the servo-driven feed keeps tape placement within a 0.5mm tolerance. We also pre-loaded the touchscreen with the clients' specific job profiles so their operators won't have to guess at the parameters on day one.

The Paper Counter: Speed Without Scuffing

For the paper counting unit, the priority is always raw speed balanced with material safety. Running 1,500 to 2,000 sheets a minute is our baseline, but the real test is doing that without leaving corner scuffs on delicate, coated cardstock.

This machine relies on optical and mechanical blade tracking for exact batch verification—eliminating those frustrating under-count disputes. It also automatically inserts color separation tabs between batches. It sounds like a minor detail, but it saves downstream packing crews a lot of sorting headaches.

How We Prep for Freight (The FAT Process)

We don’t skip the dry runs. Before these three machines were signed off for crating, they went through our standard pre-shipment process:

💡 Continuous Testing: Hours of unloaded mechanical runs to monitor motor torque, bearing temperatures, and pneumatic line stability.

💡 Material Proofing: We ran the actual tape and paper stock provided by the clients through the machines to verify adhesion and dimensions.

💡 Export Crating: Once cleared, the equipment was vacuum-sealed in moisture barrier film and bolted into non-fumigation plywood crates with heavy-duty base skids for forklift handling.

💡 In the Box: Electrical schematics, operation manuals, and the signed FAT checklists are packed right in with the accessories.
